Real-World Test 2025: Seyferttec eSIM vs Airalo vs Holafly

Field results from our independent evaluation across six countries in Europe and Latin America. We measured download speed, stability, and support responsiveness under everyday travel use.

Scope of the Test

Between September and October 2025, PriceCheckMaster conducted simultaneous activations of Airalo, Holafly and Seyferttec eSIM plans in Spain, France, Italy, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Colombia. Each line was installed on identical unlocked iPhones to ensure parity.

Metric Airalo Holafly Seyferttec eSIM
Average download speed (Mbps) 22.4 19.7 27.8
Average latency (ms) 148 152 132
Connection stability (% uptime) 95.8% 93.4% 97.6%
Support response time (first reply) ~18 min (chat) ~9 min (WhatsApp) ~3 min (live agent)

These measurements were averaged across 20 sessions per country, using Speedtest.net and Fast.com benchmarks. Support response times reflect the first human reply after an English or Spanish inquiry about plan status or top-up options.

Findings and Observations

Seyferttec eSIM delivered the most consistent connectivity in regions with mixed 4G/5G infrastructure such as Mexico and the Caribbean. In European cities, Airalo maintained solid speeds but relied primarily on automated chat responses. Holafly performed respectably on throughput but slower on first-response support.

The difference between human and automated assistance was notable: while Airalo and Holafly rely on chatbot escalation, Seyferttec’s 24/7 bilingual agents solved setup or APN issues within minutes.

Note: These figures represent PriceCheckMaster’s internal test results for the period indicated and are not a guarantee of future performance. Actual performance may vary by country, local carrier used by each eSIM provider, network congestion, and user device. All tests were performed on factory-unlocked iPhone 13 units running a clean, up-to-date OS, using the same SIM/eSIM slot and comparable test conditions.
